Bees, Goats, and Friend-time

After our parents left, Andrew and I went straight to a bee and goat training in Morogoro. It was an excellent training, made all the more enjoyable by the fact that we got to hang out with friends for the whole week. From there, we returned to our village along with a few of our good friends. We took them to a few pretty places in our village, played a lot of cards, and cooked a TON of food (mostly fried).

Projects have been moving really slowly lately in the village because everyone is farming right now. We are hoping that in the next month we will be able to make some progress at the school and with my women’s group.

In the meantime, we are just enjoying the slow pace of life and the many friends that we have made here!
